The TVR®533 Re-Edition (Hybrid I) represents a groundbreaking fusion of TVR®OPT’s iconic designs, combining the best elements of the best-selling TVR® SERIES 3 and TVR®505 Classic Panto. Celebrating a decade of commitment to the ethos of RE-MAKE = REVIVAL, this innovative creation bridges vintage elegance with contemporary flair, marking a significant highlight of the brand’s 10th Anniversary initiative. Dubbed the "Contemporary Panto," the Hybrid I encapsulates TVR®OPT’s mission to reimagine timeless eyewear for modern tastes.
The concept, born in Summer 2021 under the visionary direction of TVR®OPT’s in-house Creative Director, took shape when Sawada-san (master craftsman) and Onami-san collaborated to merge design elements from two iconic models. The result was a unique front shape blending the charm of the TVR®505 with the boldness of the TVR® SERIES 3.

True Vintage Revival (TVR) eyewear epitomizes artisanal luxury, handcrafted in Sabae, Japan—a global epicenter for fine eyewear. Each frame is meticulously created using heirloom hand tools, preserving a legacy of craftsmanship that surpasses machine precision. Drawing from original 1950s templates and employing the "Datum Expression Size" technique for perfect balance, TVR frames exude timeless elegance through iconic vintage elements like keyhole bridges, spear rivets, and 7-barrel hinges.
